We are looking for a skilled and motivated Joist & Deck Detailer to join our growing team. The role involves working on structural detailing projects and supporting the preparation of accurate drawings and related documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in Joist & Deck Detailing; experience with Open Web Steel Joists is preferred.
- Good understanding of US standards, especially SJI and AISC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to check work before submission.
- Knowledge of detailing software such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar engineering tools.
- Understanding of structural drawings, connections, BOMs, and fabrication requirements.
- Willingness to learn and work with international standards.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned projects and deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
